Garland Guzzler 0.5K Race & Oktoberfest

THE GARLAND GUZZLER 0.5K RACE IS BACK!

That's right, you couch potato, sofa spud, barely 15 years removed from your prime athletes, dust off those running or walking shoes and register for the race today! This physically demanding and mentally strenuous race known as the Garland Guzzler 0.5K will be taking place, live and in-person, for its fourth year! And, this year, we're seeing GREEN!

This is a fun race with an event full of games and activities for the whole family, including live music by The Dogensteins (Band Facebook Link). So as we like to say around here, "Stay for the party, come for the race!"

ROUTE

Don't sweat it Guzzler regulars, the traditional Downtown Garland route will remain the same this year! Start on 5th Street and head south toward State Street. Head east on State Street and around the corner parking lot next to Roach Feed & Seed to Main Street. Go west on Main Street to 6th Street. Hold on tight as you head north on 6th Street. Don't give up, you've gone this far!! Finish back east on State Street and cross the finish line in front of Intrinsic Smokehouse and Brewery. Grab your medal and your free beverage. Stick around for some games, live music and more until 9 p.m.

SWAG

Now you might ask yourself, but what about the SWAG? Will it lag? Don’t worry; we have you covered! Guzzler participants will get custom race medals, race t-shirts, and some fun goodies too, so the only thing likely to be lagging is your race time.

T-shirts and t-shirt sizes are only guaranteed for registrants through Friday, Sept. 3. All sizes are size adult up to 3XL.
