Wholehouse Weatherization Program Application

Summary

A utility bill credit is available to Garland Power & Light (GP&L) Residential “Electric” Customers and applies to energy efficiency projects completed on homes served by GP&L

For any one or a combination of the following:

  • Ceiling insulation (existing and new insulation must be at least R-30)

  • ENERGY STAR® windows/doors

  • Window solar screens or film

  • Duct replacement

  • Duct sealing (Must include BEFORE & AFTER duct leakage test.)

  • Weatherization (Weather-stripping of doors, caulking windows, sealing plumbing penetrations. Must include BEFORE & AFTER blower door test.)

Program ends September 30, 2026 or when program funds are depleted, whichever comes first.
